I had my first scrimmage today. It went very well, better than I would have thought. It was pretty much what I was expecting, but there were about 6 schools there instead of the 2 or 3 that I was thinking would be! I beat my goal time of under 30 for my first race, and got 27.33. Not great, but good for my first scrimmage I guess. I was able to hold off two Magruter boys, that were right behind me the whole race. Until the end, when I gave it everything I had and sprinted as fast as I could, one of them still had it in them and barely managed to beat me! So a little upsetting.
